A rotor pump is a form of a volumetric pump. It is made up of a rotating rotor and a stationary pump body. It has no suction and discharge valves, changing the working volume through the relative motion between the rotor and the pump body, and discharging the liquid by the extrusion of the rotating rotor, while leaving the space on the other side, forming a low pressure to make the liquid inhaled continuously.

According to its structure and principle, the rotor pump can be divided into gear pump, screw pump, rotary piston pump (cam pump, Luo Cibeng), flexible impeller pump, slide pump, hose pump and so on. Rotor pump is a rotary positive displacement pump with positive displacement, and its flow does not vary with back pressure.

Priority selection of rotor pump occasions are: viscous liquid, the need to measure the occasion, the need for self suction occasions, containing gas, small flow occasions, demand for the medium without shear pump, the need to reverse the pump high pressure occasions, and so on.
